Alicia is currently the most Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher Northumberland
where she has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for more than 25 years.
Over the years she has had the privilege of attending many classes in Pune and Rishekesh, India, personally taught by the renowned BKS Iyengar and his family.

She trained as a teacher in the North East with Margaret Austin and still attends Margaret's inspirational, weekly teacher's class.
In addition to her regular classes, Alicia co-teachers an annual Summer School with fellow senior teacher Trish James.
Alicia has been an assessor for the IY (UK) since 2009.
Many of the Iyengar Yoga teachers in Northumberland have themselves
been taught originally by Alicia.
